| | "I used to think that being disabled inevitably meant that a lot of everyday activities were impossible, or at best, extremely difficult. All that changed when the DLC (now the Living Centre) was set up. Now it's wonderful to know that I can find practical solutions and alternative ways to achieve what I want to do. Even though physically I can do less now than I could do in the past, I can actually be more independent, because I've got the right equipment." |
